I’m frequently asked about my inspiration, and I also read the comment “Why?” All. The. Time.
I’m drawn to expressive spaces, color, scale, and identifying what makes me happy so that I can bring it into my home, how I host, incorporate it into my daily – and share with you to hopefully inspire and motivate you to determine how to style your life – and why.
You may have heard about my upcoming Inspiration Trip to Pistoia, Italy in June. This is also the spirit behind that special trip. A spirit I’m beyond excited to be able to share with you if you’d like to join me in person.
Why I live big and bold:
- JOY deserves to be visible and you’ll live a happier life when you can see it.
2. Beauty isn’t saved for special occasions. Today is the special occasion.
3. Expressive spaces invite people in and encourage them to stay longer.
4. We’re all just people trying to feel inspired and we need each other to live a full life.
5. Color and patterns are meant to be a personal expression: push the boundaries and test the limits.
6. Gathering your community is a love language we should all be fluent.
7. Every day life is worth getting ready for and celebrating.
8. Doing something someone else hasn’t seen before may make them uncomfortable, but it’s good to be the person brave enough to offer a fresh perspective.
9. Making a meal to care for the people you love the most isn’t a chore. It’s a privledge.
10. I breathe big and bold. I don’t just decorate this way.
11. We should pursue our childhood dreams.
12. The world is relying on you to express yourself because only you can do it – and we all need you to do it.
13. The glass if half full. And when it’s empty, it’s just waiting on a refill.
14. Don’t eat to get full. Savor a meal to fuel your life.
15. Mixing styles, colors and textures creates conversation.
16. It doesn’t have to “match” if you don’t want it to.
